Our client is a team, of passionate legal professionals, who love where they work, the community they work in and the work they do. Our client was New Lynn's very first law firm founded in 1956. This firm has a stellar reputation in the area. An opportunity has arisen for an up-and-coming solicitor with a general practice background in conveyancing, trusts, wills, estates and relationship property to work with this team of exceptional women. You will be working alongside the director whose father founded the firm to provide continued service to their loyal client base, this role would suit a solicitor 5+ years PQE with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. What you bring to the table: · A team player with a 'can-do' attitude · Your initiative and pride in your work · Confidence in managing files independently · Eye for detail, focused and good file management practices · Ability to develop and maintain solid client relationships · Experienced with relevant legal knowledge · Technology savvy (sound Microsoft 365 skills, experience with LEAP a bonus but not required) This is a genuine opportunity for partnership succession in the next 3-5 years. Ideally your passion would be in relationship property and the trust space with experience in general practice and the desire and care to take on existing long standing clients as well as developing your client base over time.
