Responsibilities
? Developing design briefs that suit the client?s purpose;
? Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design;
? Good understanding of house plans and construction. Designing for both new homes and renovations
? Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
? Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account managers;
? Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD and Pro100) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies;
? Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
? Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print;
? Preparing work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials;
? Planning concept by studying information and materials;
? Illustrating concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type and style, and related aesthetic concepts;
? Preparing finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing and similar equipment, purchasing from vendors;
? Preparing final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
Skills and Specifications
A minimum of 2 years? interior design experience or similar;
At least 1 year of New Zealand experience is a must;
Medium to high level of proficiency in design software (including Auto CAD, PRO100,Sketch up) and Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
Attention to details and focus on high quality and flexibility to take on a variety of tasks
Willing to learn, doing fast and have great performance
Full driver?s license
Must not have any criminal convictions and be able to pass a drug test.
