Junior Marketing Designer

With a brand new logo, visual identity and website, it really is a fantastic time to join us as a Junior Marketing Designer.
We are looking for a talented designer with creative flair, good illustration skills and a real design thinker, who can make pretty things functional and make functional things pretty. The kind of chameleonic designer who can adapt to each situation and blow us away with both the visual impact of the design and the deeper design thinking of truly great user experiences.
We want to be led into the future by designers that wow us, inspiring us to keep evolving our visual identity. We?re looking for a designer that?s a great team player?someone who can draw out our deep brand story, company history and future dreams to express that through design.
This is a 10hr/week part-time role that would be ideal for a university student studying design. Rather than working in retail or fast food while you study, why not work 10 hours a week as a designer with us?
This role may include small amounts of design for print but will be 99% digital. our team now designs solely for digital using Figma?its real-time cloud-based design-collaboration wizardry is life-changing. Having a fast learning curve, if you?ve never used Figma before, we can provide training.

Graphics for social media.
Graphics for blog posts.
Graphics for email newsletters.
Graphics for presentations.
Designing pages on our website.
Print collateral for events.
Videos for feature launches.
Our strong preference is someone with skills in after-effects/animation that could create animated feature launch videos to the caliber of the examples below, but if that?s not you and you think you?re nailing all other criteria we?d still love to hear from you.
The employer will be responsible to meet all regulations regarding worker safety during Covid-19 Alert L2. Any successful applicants will be made aware of their responsibilities as well.
These include:
good contact registers in place
good hygiene practices
minimised contact to the extent possible
asking everyone (workers, contractors and customers) with cold or flu-like symptoms to stay away from your premises
