East Tamaki, AucklandPart-time, PermanentSupportive team environmentUtilise your expertise in procurement and inventoryNational brand working in a fast paced, exciting industryCARTERS East Tamaki are looking for an energetic go-getter to take ownership of all Inwards Goods for this busy Branch!THE ROLE:The demands of Inwards Goods are broad and varied;You'll be responsible for proper receipting, documentation and processing of all incoming goods, as well as assessing stock variances and placing orders while also providing customers with a level of service that exceeds expectationsRunning stock takes will come second to none for you; ensuring top results are achieved through reporting and reconciliationThe role also involve elements of procurement, so your ability to effectively manage supplier relationships and strike an awesome deal will definitely help you in this role.As a smooth operator and true all-rounder, you'll confidently pitch in to support the team at all times - whether it be heavy lifting in the yard or charming customers in the showroom, your positive attitude and commitment to customer service will shineWHAT YOU NEED:You must be process-driven with an eye for detail - a great fit if you have a background in stores, inventory, logistics or despatch with the added bonus of impeccable customer service and procurement/negotiation skillsYour computer skills will prove their worth in the speed and accuracy of your data entryBuilding industry knowledge or experience is preferred, but not essential.
