Job Description

The International Office is responsible for developing and implementing the international strategy to attract students from around the world to study at The University of Auckland. Reporting to the International Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing marketing support to staff across the International Office.

This role is fast-paced and varied, and we are looking for someone enthusiastic and well organised to join our International Marketing team. This is a busy role and requires candidates to have a flexible and proactive approach to their working environment as no two days are the same. You will be known as a go-to person with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience and capability in designing and managing digital marketing strategies and projects, including planning, content development and execution of digital lead generation and conversion marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for international social media channels and producing content for and managing digital platforms, along with providing updates to the University website. You will also provide support for online and offshore recruitment activity, planning campaigns to promote international events and managing collateral delivery to ensure their success.

You will be a positive, confident individual who works well as part of a team. You will pride yourself on your commitment to the highest standards of customer service, be adept at managing a variety of stakeholders and exhibit a good understanding and appreciation of other cultures. Your oral and written communication skills will be excellent, as will your interpersonal skills. You demonstrate initiative and enjoy managing events. You are comfortable presenting to an audience.
Qualifications

You will be tertiary qualified in marketing or a relevant discipline and ideally have a minimum of 2 years marketing experience within the NZ tertiary education sector, including digital marketing. Conversational fluency in another language would be an advantage but is not required.
