Currently, the majority of this data is captured by a person on site, but with the rapid advancement of ground robots and docked drones, we are on a mission to automate the capture of this valuable data, giving our customers time back to focus on the highest impact tasks. DroneDeploy's product team is highly customer-focused, and you should expect to spend a lot of time with our customers, including travel to job sites across the world. We are looking for a product manager to join our Robotics team to own delivery of our robotic automation solutions, accelerating DroneDeploy's business in the Construction and Energy industries. As part of your upskilling in the robotics domain, you will be responsible for successfully implementing our solutions for customers across the globe and building an in-depth understanding of the jobs to be done. You will take this delivery experience with key customer projects to transition into a full-blown Product Manager role. You'll deliver simple, intuitive user experiences that delight and engage customers. DroneDeploy's robotic automation products are our fastest growing and you will need to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver on the massive growth opportunity. Responsibilities: Accountable for the delivery of key customer projects to implement robotic automation solutions (docked drones and autonomous ground robots). Facilitate communication between internal teams and customers to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Provide support to customers during the implementation phase Deeply understand our customers and prospects in the Construction and Energy Verticals. Learn about and clearly document their goals & frustrations. Educate the team on your research. Partner closely with your partners in Design and Engineering, delivering pragmatic solutions that drive significant value for customers. Lead product decisions on priorities, help resolve issues, develop and communicate your roadmap to the company and your team. Develop a clear revenue growth plan, and contribute to our packaging approach. Help the go-to-market team to focus their efforts. Lead high-level relationships with strategic partners where they connect to your product. Own the delivery of the product through launch, customer acquisition, adoption, activity, and long-term iteration and improvements. Requirements: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years experience in building and/or delivering SaaS products. Experience with hardware products or Construction/Energy industries is a bonus. Day-to-day experience as a Product Manager in an agile environment with a dedicated development team. Comfortable seeking and using customer conversations to make product decisions.
