They are entrusted with developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes, while providing expert guidance to management and staff. The HR Advisor collaborates closely with the General Manager to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.About the Company:With two operations in New Zealand, this manufacturing company located in sunny Nelson are seeking a HR Advisor to join the team. They use tech know-how and local insight to stay ahead in the market and are now in expansion stage. The goal is to grow production and partnerships all whilst adapting well to the changing global scene when it comes to the manufacturing industry.Tasks include but are not limited to :Recruitment and Onboarding - Support and oversee recruitment processes and maintain inductions for new staff.Strategy, Policy, and Process Development - Devise HR plans that facilitate growth and organizational change, contribute insights to company strategy discussions, develop HR policies & proceduresCompensation Management - Lead the annual salary review process in January, in partnership with Management and maintain all employee recordsStaff Training & Development - Aid managers in staff development initiatives and ensure reviews are completedHR Advisory - Provide confidential and expert advice, attend weekly meetings with Management and fortnightly tactical meetings with senior staff and participation in disciplinary meetings as needed to ensure adherence to correct processes.Administrative Support - Maintain accurate and secure records and act as privacy officerWe are looking for someone with:A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or similar.Experience in a previous HR generalist advisory or management position, who has been involved in compensation management, HR Advisory tasks with strategy, Policy & Process development involvement.Up to date knowledge of NZ Employment Law & have a sound understanding of all things HR.To succeed in this position, it is ideal you have strong attention to detail, a positive mindset & the confidence to lead the HR function and provide advice to management on all things HR.
