Experienced Human Resource Advisor? Looking for a new challenge?
This is the role for you.
Waitemata DHB (WDHB) serves the largest DHB population in NZ, providing health services to a diverse population. Our healthcare workforce is based in the North Shore, Rodney and West Auckland Districts.
As a Human Resource Advisor at WDHB you will be providing best practice human resource advice and expertise to management and staff. You will work as a business partner responsible for your own service portfolio alongside a Human Resource Manager, providing support in relation to the interpretation and application of human resource policies and practice, legislation and advice on a range of employment matters.
The pace is fast and the work can often be complex so you must be able to prioritise your workload and deliver within the timeframes set by business demand. Key to your success will be your ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple tasks. You will also have:
Excellent communication skills, strong analytical capability, and attention to detail
Experience in change management and managing performance
The ability to provide proactive and positive solutions to the business in a timely manner
A tertiary qualification in human resources, or one in progress
Minimum 3 years in a generalist human resource role
Experience in a unionised environment would be a strong advantage

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a role that performs a vital function for the DHB, as well as developing your skills to continue to build your successful human resource career.
