Manawa Energy is offering an opportunity as a Health & Safety Business Partner, based here in Tauranga. About the role This is an exciting new role, the Health and Safety (H&S) Business Partner will be instrumental in reshaping Manawa Energy's approach to Health & Safety and supporting Manawa's transition to a proactive, adaptive framework. Central to this role is the active communication of expectations to internal and external stakeholders. You will support system improvements, coach and upskill our people, provide general health and safety support and foster a positive safety culture throughout Manawa. Will be curious and keen to learn more, constantly looking at what's possible. Will be a friendly, approachable go-getter who is passionate about making our workplace safer for all those who have contact with our sites and offices. Will be experienced in health and safety, with a good understanding of the risks present in generation ideally. Will have extensive knowledge of risk management, supporting our teams to manage risk and ensure controls are in place and working correctly. Will be willing to travel and support our sites with differing needs, capabilities and levels of safety practice. We know you may be reluctant to apply if they feel you don't 'tick all the boxes'.
