Are you someone who wants to work with youth and their communities, supporting transitions into tertiary education programmes? Do you want to work with a passionate team who are focussed on preparing youth for the next step in their pathway? We have a new role at our Rotorua campus for someone who is passionate about working with rangatahi who have left school. We offer foundation education programmes for youth with most starting with us when they are aged 15-17. They are looking to gain their NCEA and our team is there to support them through that learning journey. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Rotorua campus with recruitment, pathways, and managing the front of house duties of receiving our guests, students and stakeholders who visit the campus. EmployNZ has delivery sites in Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatane and this role will be part of the wider recruitment and student support team for the Bay of Plenty and the liaison for head office, supported by our Programme Manager and Recruitment Advisor. You will be someone who can work with secondary schools and community organisation staff to support the transition of youth moving into our programmes. This will include a range of offsite and onsite activities to promote our pathways, meetings with youth and their whanau or support people and key stakeholder representatives who are working with rangatahi in the community. You will be a motivated person who can: Foster strong working relationships with others working with youth. Demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, putting people at ease, and creating a friendly atmosphere. Use your expertise in current technologies to efficiently handle a diverse range of administration tasks. Use online applications (CRM) to manage enquires, follow and input into operational processes. Provide relief when tutors are away. Promote teamwork and work with others to ensure smooth day to day operations. To be sucessful in this role, you will need: A genuine dedication to serving and supporting others. A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing services to diverse teams.
