About the Role
This role will see you assisting ward staff with direct and non-direct client care activities and maintaining the ward environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning for patients and staff. An integral part of our health care team, you must be able to take direction from both Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses. Experience working with people in the health sector and/or experience or knowledge of customer service would be an advantage. Full training and support will be provided.
Strongly supported by a tight knit team under the careful direction of the Charge Nurse Manager, you will enjoy working in a unit that strives for excellence in clinical services and exemplifies the team based model of care. Ward 4C is a 25 bed general surgical ward specialising in vascular, urology, plastics, breast and gynaecology and provides for both elective and acute surgical admissions.
About You
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are dynamic, friendly and can demonstrate a high level of initiative. You will be committed to high standards of practice, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
It is important that candidates are motivated, flexible, have a level of maturity about them and of course plenty of enthusiasm. Experience working with people in a caring capacity is also essential.
