In this role of a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will support the Health and Safety team to deliver Health and Safety Projects and manage systems and processes that support the health and safety of our Kaimahi.
The role is currently fixed term for 4 months due to current People and Communications change process.
The role includes maintaining training registers, maintaining our documents register, assisting on investigations and projects, preparing communication on health and safety, supporting our health and safety representatives, coordinating training, preparing information for our AEP audit, and coordinating health and safety representative elections.
This includes project management, reporting, administration and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders (management, employees and H&S representatives and a variety of external parties).
You'll also contribute to H&S strategy, developing a H&S culture and help develop our annual programme of work. The role reports to the Health & Safety Manager.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
· Project management experience, including the ability to assist with complex projects that have organisation -wide impact
· Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory, statutory and policy requirements
· Able to achieve results through collaboration, relationship management and influencing
· Data-literate, able to use metrics and measurement
