Head Sawdoctor

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are looking for a Head Saw Doctor for our Otago site in our modern sawmilling facility based in Milburn (approximately 40mins south of Dunedin and 20mins north of Balclutha) producing kiln dried appearance grade lumber for domestic and export markets.
This position is a permanent full-time position, minimum 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. There is no weekend work required. Offered salary depends on experience and qualifications.
As Head Sawdoctor you will report to the Engineering Co-ordinator and would be responsible for the efficient day to day saw doctoring operations and general maintenance of the Saw Shop.
You will actively plan, facilitate and supervise work to ensure that all saws are repaired, sharpened and finished to a high quality in accordance with Saw Shop specifications and best practice standards to guarantee reliability and availability of saws in the Sawmill.
