Mo te whai waahi | About the opportunity We're looking for an inspiring leader to join our People and Safety Leadership Team as Head of Training and Development. Based in Burnside, the position covers parental leave for a 12-month fixed term.
Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you'll:
Coach and empower your amazing team to be the best they can be Support new training and development initiatives Lead the training and development strategy across the co-operative Support the development and knowledge of Farmlanders and help us meet our strategic goals You'll lead a close-knit and highly skilled team of four who utilise industry-leading technology including our Totara based LMS 'The Greenhouse', Microsoft 365, Viva, and Articulate 360. Amongst our achievements in the past 12 months we've implemented national technical and retail CPD and training programmes, introduced Gallup and CliftonStrengths, and launched internship opportunities.
With 1300+ employees across the motu, there is huge room to work at organisational, strategic level and credibly influence learning outcomes across Farmlands. Mohou ake | About you This is the perfect contract role for an L&D Leader with a passion for strategy and coaching to support our team to drive forward and delivercurrent and new initiatives.
It goes without saying that you'll be well-versed in L&D and adult learning principles, and have significant experience leading a training and development team. You'll also be in your element influencing key stakeholders in strategy meetings, coaching your team, and building general capability to support strategic priorities.
Key to your success will be:
