Full job description Korero mo te turanga - About the role Our Customer Service Delivery (CSD) function is seeking the skills and capabilities of an experienced Security and Compliance leader to join the team, based in our Highbrook Operations Centre. While there will always be an element of responding to and investigating security and integrity-related issues that arise, this strategic leadership position is heavily focussed on applying and continually enhancing a prevention-focused approach to our security and compliance needs. This role reports to our GM Network Management and will manage the security governance structure, provide clear strategic direction, create and drive measurable performance expectations - and lead the specialist team of 5 based throughout NZ. The Security & Compliance portfolio will provide the business with a balanced Prevention, Detection and Response capability that is aligned to NZ Post's overall strategy. Mou - About you We are committed to providing an early intervention, 'prevention first' operating model that is enabled by data and technology. This key focus on data-led loss prevention requires the successful candidate to be able to clearly demonstrate successful, commercially astute leadership of similar functions in complex operational environments. The candidate will likely have a strong background in the baseline disciplines of security and/or investigations, and that experience will have been strengthened through delivering measurable prevention-focused improvements in a commercial setting. You'll be able to clearly articulate the following skills and attributes: Excellent relationship management and influencing skills A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant work experience in related areas Holder of, or expected to be approved for, a National Security Clearance Proven people leadership experience and collaborative working style Proven experience leading security functions within large and complex operations environments Proven strategic capability and experience designing or developing new operating models and work processes Experience in security and investigations management Strong commercial acumen Experience working with external suppliers Mo te Tukurau Aotearoa - About NZ Post NZ Post is an iconic organisation with a rich history and bright future.
