The Role: We are seeking a seasoned people leader with strong commitment and ownership to fill the Head of Finance role. This new role is pivotal in delivering financial strategy and ensuring financial health and compliance of the Company. It oversees all finance-related activities including financial and management accounting services, Board reporting, investment and financial risk management. This fulltime role is based in our Head Office at Rotorua and reports to GM Business Services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals. Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cash management and the delivery of contract financial services. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and to monitor key performance indicators. Manage financial risk and compliance. Collaborate and support Business Centre Managers to drive business performance. Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary degree in Finance and/or Accounting. Qualification in Chartered Accountancy (NZ) is mandatory. Proven experience in a senior finance role (10 years minimum in total, with at least 5 years in a leadership role). This includes knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, accounting principles, and reporting standards to support and supervise the team.
