Looking to enhance & grow our position as the first-choice service and product provider within the New Zealand market, the Group has created this senior role to spear-head the growth strategy.
Reporting to the Group Customer & Marketing Director, the role's principal responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing commercial sales strategies in line with the Group's goals and objectives
Identifying brand USP and how that can be harnessed to drive growth in the B2B and B2C sectors we serve with our products and services
Grow revenue / share of wallet and margin across key accounts
Developing a strategic account management structure and underlying key account plans to optimise account retention and growth, incorporating contractual obligations, pricing reviews, margin analysis, and account profitability
Effectively leading a committed and high-performing team

The key skills and experience that will get you noticed:
Proven leader with exceptional key account management skills
Track record of developing and building long-term profitable strategic customer relationships
Experienced in multi-level sales management in large complex account environments, understanding customer TCOs and complex pricing models
Negotiation contracts and bids / tenders
Developing and nurturing relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
Highly developed interpersonal skills and a strong networker
Models customer-focussed behaviour and champions best practice in customer service
Proven team leadership skills, ensuring team members are engaged and productive
Professional - comfortable and proven experience leading negotiations at C-Suite level

You are likely to have a bachelor's degree or master's and 5 to 7 years' experience in a commercial leadership role working in a complex sales environment (eg. electricity companies, insurance/financial services, mobile network operators, and global IT vendors etc)
