About the business and the role Zeta Group is a major player in the New Zealand personal care market specializing in nappy and wipes products We are searching for a Head Industrial Machinery Mechanic Technician who will work with oversee a team of technicians Job tasks and responsibilities 1 Supervisors the mechanical technician team 2 All the production lines are running smoothly 3 All the production targets and schedules are completed on time Skills and experience 1 Ensure the mechanical equipment is available to meet the needs of production 2 Maintain systems and equipment by completing regular maintenance tasks including breakdown repair preventative maintenance refurbishment and replacement of defective components 3 Assist with the design and implementation of plant and process improvement initiatives 4 Ensures the machines are operational for daily production tasks 5 Supervise the technicians and machine operators to ensure that the entire production schedule is completed on time 6 Able to maintain multiple production lines 7 Ensure strict H S compliance To Be Successful Minimum of 8 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required Advanced understanding of hydraulics pneumatics and mechanics Strong reading writing math and mechanical reasoning skills Detail oriented organized ability to manage multiple tasks Team player supports other team members to maximize effective machine utilization with the ability to excel in a selfdirected work setting with minimal supervision Ability to react to changing customer demands Quality consciousHigh sense of urgency with focus on maximizing productivity safety uptime quality Excellent problemsolving and communication skillsAbility to lift 50 pounds Prior manufacturing experience Job benefits and perks Free parking and a sunny office are just two of the great perks of working for Zeta Group
