Trimble is recruiting for a Graduate Software Engineer to fill an opportunity in Christchurch, New Zealand .
Job Summary
You will work in a team responsible for design and implementation of field applications for land surveyors. Development is in C++ in a mobile environment.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree). Familiarity with mobile communications would be advantageous.
Desired skills and abilities include:
Ability to contribute and add value to this dynamic team environment
Willingness to learn
Software engineering skills, experience with embedded systems preferred
Exposure to applications development, ideally combined with C++ skills
Experience with the QT software development platform is a plus
Experience with Android development a plus
Knowledge and experience with interactive/real-time application development
Strong oral and written communication skills
The position require motivated team players with a dedicated, yet flexible approach to work.
