Passionate about shaping governance in a government agency? We have an opportunity for a Governance Advisor to help drive positive change within our client and make a lasting impact. This role will move quickly and may be appointed at any time.
This is a short term contract for a Governance Advisor to support a government agency. As a Governance Advisor, you'll ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability. Provide strategic advice, enhance governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Identify risks, promote ethical practices, and foster good governance throughout the agency.
Responsibilities Assess governance practices and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement governance strategies aligned with best practices.Guide on board structures, decision-making, and conflict management.Collaborate with teams to embed effective governance practices.Design and deliver training programs to enhance governance knowledge.Monitor trends and recommend adjustments to practices.Conduct audits to measure effectiveness and identify enhancements.Requriements Proven experience in governance advisory roles.In-depth knowledge of governance principles, regulations, and best practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsThis role will move quickly and may be appointed at any time. You will need to be immediately available and have a right to work in New Zealand.
