About The Role We are looking for an experienced front of house person print industry experience a plus The candidate will need great customer service skills and be well organised Supporting production and workflow management alongside the graphic designer you will be the first point of call at front counter answering the phones and responding to email enquiries Main tasks include Front of House and Customer Service Taking briefs running first impressions working with clients to manage timeframe expectations recommending print solutions and maximising sales potential Basic photocopying binding and laminating jobs for walk in customers Print Finishing trimming finished work on the guillotine creasing folding etc and organising handover of finishing to print finisher Admin maintaining stock levels ordering cash up and invoicing in Xero Backing up the designer with small layout jobs and alterations basic level of indesign Setup and imposition of files for printing Running the printers Skills and Experience Ideally you will already have had similar experience in a copy print shop environment or related digital print industry position however we are willing to train retrain the right person who has excellent customer service office admin skills and is the right fit You will possess the ability to work to a deadline multitask reprioritise quickly and time manage efficiently You will have an eye for detail and be quality conscious Experience with quoting using Xero would be an advantage All of these tasks are supported and backed up by the owner the designer and print finisher As we are a small team there is crossover between roles so we are looking for a willing and versatile team player
