Export Coordinator

About the Company A manufacturing business with a global presence supplying food and beverage ingredients worldwide. With the New Zealand site still in its infancy and in a stage of growth they are looking to bring on an Export Coordinator within the supply chain team. About the opportunity Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this Export Coordinator role is based in Tokoroa. In this role, you will manage and oversee all aspects of export operations.Preparation of necessary documentation in compliance with international shipping (such as commercial invoices, packing lists and export declarations).Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents to guarantee efficient and timely shipments.Act as the main contact for, vendors, and logistics partners, managing schedules, tracking shipments, and resolving shipping issues.Keep constant communication with internal and external stakeholders to streamline order processing and update all parties on shipment statuses.Manage all shipping-related costs, including expenses related to MPI, container holds, detention and demurrage.Keep up with any changes in export regulations. Key requirements Minimum 1 years in export operations, a strong understanding of compliance and regulations (beneficial but not necessary).Excellent communication, the ability to communicate clearly with both multiple internal and external stakeholders.Having a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail will be a key advantage in this role as will a positive collaborative attitude.Eager to learn and develop.
