We're embarking on a transformational journey to re-imagine energy, with the industry experiencing big changes driven by customer demand and technology.About the role:We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Financial Analyst with critical and analytical thinking skills and self-motivation to empower data driven decision making within Genesis. In this role, you will support the Finance Business Partner and other key stakeholders to drive better commercial decisions.Day-to-day/monthly responsibilities will range fromMaintain and build financial models based on customer and stakeholder requirements.Maintain reports and provide insights and analysis both on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support value add decision making.Coordinate preparation of financial reporting and analysis, including hands-on month end responsibilities. Analyse monthly results against budget, giving insights into trends, issues and opportunities.Prepare detailed annual budget, quarterly forecasting and business planning, with a focus on opportunity, risk, and accuracy.About you:A minimum of 3 years' commercial experience in financial analysis or management accounting environmentExperience in financial modelling and analysisIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsExposure to TM1 and Power BI advantageousA tertiary qualification in business or similar relevant disciplineIt is likely that you have completed or be close to completing your CA or equivalent qualificationsA collaborative, proactive and engaging style will be key in enabling you to work alongside the wider business.
