About The Role : We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner - Operations and be based in our Auckland region. Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the provision of operational and commercial decision support and analysis for ASSA ABLOY NZ to ensure the achievement of financial and strategic plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead in conjunction with the Finance Director, the annual standard costing review and annual standard cost roll up. Produce detailed analysis of manufacturing variances and overheads in support of monthly reporting and annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business plans. Provide commercial finance support to operation team including VAVE initiatives. Assist with capital expenditure proposals. Conduct and present post implementation reviews. Monitoring, analysing, and providing solutions for obsolete/slow moving inventory. Support the annual pricing review process through the evaluation of all costs and required cost recoveries. Complete Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reporting pack (HFM) within group reporting deadline. Managing and achieving the financial targets and objectives. Preparation of the operating budget and management reports Provisioning commercial analysis to support sales/marketing team in development of commercial strategies. Assist other members of the Finance Department when required and learn other functions within the Department to provide cross training and cover. About you: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience. Certified Management Accountant qualification or equivalent degree in accounting and finance. Experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous. Exceptional financial acumen with detailed P&L understanding. Strategic thinking abilities: critical and strategic thinking about the short-term and long-term financial goals of the organisation, and how to create and capitalise on opportunities for financial growth. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify opportunities for improvement. Ability to work effectively with other departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, to support the organisation's financial and strategic goals.
