Anhad Horticulture Ltd located in Te puke is looking for hard working and punctual Farm Hands. It is full time role minimum 30 hours per week paid at $30-32 an hourThe main duties will includeGeneral maintenance of farms –the employee is to keep the grounds of the farm clean and tidy; mowing lawns weedingrepairing farm buildings and fencescleaning of farm equipment and vehiclesoperating and maintenance of farm machinery, cleaning crates and containers picking up any rubbish, washing of farm buildings and fenceshelping to lay and pick up weed mattsmonitoring weather and liaising with farm manager to take appropriate actions i.e. using mini digger to create a temporary swale to channel water out.Suitable candidate must be physically fit to work in all weather conditions and flexible to work on 6-7 days a week roster.Candidate must be NZ Citizen or resident.Full training will be provided.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------DESCRIPTION FOR SITE TEAM LEADER:Anhad Horticulture Ltd located in Te puke is looking for hard working and punctual Site Team Leaders. It is full time role minimum 30 hours per week.Requirements:Must have valid driver's licence or international licence equivalent to New Zealand LicenceAs a Site Team Leader you need to be :confident and caring towards workerspatient adaptable and practicalable to show initiative and make decisionswell orgainzed goal focused and forward thinkingable to work well independently and as a part of teamgood at communicating and managing peopleduties will include:recording and reporting the of key orchard data when requiredcompletion and filing of work sheetsDirect and coordinate the workers ensuring orchards activitiesguide the workers with operational involvement as required in the harvestensuring that development and harvesting are completed timely and effectively to ensure company productionEnsure the standard and quality of workmanship and appearance of orchards is at high levelResponsible for recruitment of staff within the specified teamLead the team and make key personal decisions in terms of HR best practice and instruct the workers to do the needful task expected of themtrain staff where applicable ensuring staff are aware of grade standards best practice techniques and productsmaintain a safe working environment and practices for all partiesReview tools and equipment regularly to ensure staff safetyreport to manager/Dorectors on daily basisAttend Management Team meetingsgoals are metSuitable candidate must be physically fit to work in all weather conditions and flexible to work on 6-7 days a week roster.Candidate must be NZ Citizen or resident.Full training will be provided.Â
