Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Are you experienced in the management of cold stores, blast freezers, and logistics, including container movements for export and stock inventory?Understand refrigeration performance, freezing product to regulated temperatures?Have a logical mind?Are you on point, demonstrating accuracy when it comes to stock inventory, location allocation and creation of reports?Open to management of change?Can you successfully manage and mentor a team?Have a genuine interest in the health, safety and wellbeing of others?Have a desire to lead, develop and nurture a team?Have used various software packages, where you find new systems a challenge and are not overwhelmed?If you have answered yes to all or most of the above, we would invite you to apply for this role for further detail.Skills and Abilities Competencies…This role is to coordinate, plan and manage the cold store operation along with the team to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.Previous working knowledge of cold stores and blast freezers and supply chain management.Background in food regulations; knowledge of Animal Product Regulations and or Market Access Requirements would be an advantage.Communications are key with both internal and external customers including clear and accurate delivery and planning for container loading/unloading and third-party blast storage requirements when needed.Systems knowledge and ability to run inventory reports. Any reference to XIMS, Scanners, RMP, Excel, Damstra (H&S Package), Pro Docs (export packages) is an advantage.About you…You must have experience in this line of work.Be a supportive, hands-on manager - there will be a need to cover others during busier times / on leave - as they will for you?Flexible?
