Are you the next member our board is looking for? We are on the hunt for a community minded person keen to support the development of awesome community events.
As an executive member of the Waikato Winter Show Association, you will be in the guardianship seat of an organisation with a rich history. The board is responsible for the guardianship or kaitiakitanga over the annual event - guiding the ultimate direction of where it should go.
It is an exciting time to join the board, as 2024 will see a brand new Festival, that will replace the existing 'show' concept - and we need people like you to join and make it an even better event for years to come!
Requirements: We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, however, the following skills and attributes are desired:
Community GovernanceEvents and/or MarketingLegalFinance and/or Strategy Time commitment: 2-4 hours every two months. With the exception of event time in October where it is encouraged to be involved as much as possible during the event period, which runs for two weeks
