The New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations and World Trade Organisation in Geneva is offering a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the world of diplomacy and global affairs through the position of Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant, collaborating with the other Executive Assistant, is responsible for providing support to the policy work of the Mission through administrative support to the Head of Mission (UN and Disarmament Ambassador) and WTO Ambassador, and helps to lead and deliver the Mission's visits and events.

We would like to hear from you if you have a previous successful experience in an Executive Assistant capacity to a senior manager and/or leadership team and:
Have well-developed planning and organisational skills, including ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressureHave excellent command of both English and French, oral and writtenHave the ability to work autonomously and within guidelines, demonstrating the use of sound judgement and follow up without promptingHave a strong customer focus, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, have a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced and busy environment, adapt to ambiguity and changing situations, balance priorities and work to tight deadlines.You would ideally be available to commence duties in Geneva in August or September 2024.
