Excavator Operator

Description:

We have a client that is seeking excavator operators to assist with a large civil infrastructure project in Christchurch for an immediate start.
We are seeking an individual that has experience working within the civil industry operating an excavator, with a class 2 WTR licence. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be happy to assist with labouring duties which include: raking, shovel work, broom work, plate compaction and boxing.
Job Specifics:
Plant operating: 5-20tonne excavator
Working around services - overhead and underground
Stripping asphalt and prep work for footpaths
Labouring: shovel, rake, broom, plate compaction and boxing work
Must be conscious of working around powerpoles, driveways, fences and ground works.

Job Benefits:
Ongoing assignment (Monday - Friday up to 45hrs per week)
Based in Rolleston
Competitive payrates ranging from $25-28p/h depending on experience

Job Requirements:
Class 2 WTR licence essential
Class 4 licence advantageous
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Previous experience confirmed by 2 referees
