Together we have restored road, rail and bridge access for many communities. The Opportunity | Te kowhiringa As an Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for onsite environmental management. In your role you will manage environmental inspections, monitoring, and controls, to ensure the works have the least impact on the environment. This role will require you to provide assistance and support with the appropriate environmental systems, processes, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with Environmental & Sustainability standards and best practice. Important Skills | Nga pukenga matua Ideally, you will have the following: A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering or related disciplines Previous experience in an environmental management, or engineering, or related field Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with a variety of people High accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated time management and organisational skills A strong sense of commitment and initiative, willingness to learn, as well as the ability to work well under pressure Why you will enjoy working here | Ko te take ka parekareka e koe ki te mahi ki konei Our benefits are designed to develop the whole person, at home and at work - trust us when we say we've got you covered. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 This is a full time, fixed term opportunity based in either Gisborne, Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay regions.
