Full time, fixed term until February 2025 Remuneration as per MECA guidelines between step 10-13 The opportunity: In this exciting senior role you will be responsible for leading the education and training strategy for our Pharmacy Service at Middlemore Hospital. We are seeking an experienced pharmacist with advanced clinical knowledge and a passion for coaching, education and training. You will be leading, developing and implementing programmes that support the development of knowledge, skill and capability of our clinical and technical staff. You will work closely with the senior leadership/management team to build on the current training and education resources and systems. You will also help develop and implement competency-based assessment and credentialing tools and processes. A key element of this role would be to incorporate and support experiential based learning methods into everyday practice. You will maintain your clinical pharmacy skills by providing a clinical service to a specified area for 50% of the role. Applications are welcomed from lead/senior pharmacists looking for a change in direction or those wishing to develop education and training skills. Development opportunities and support will be provided to pharmacists who have limited experience in education and training or to those wishing to enhance their specialist skills through further education.
