Home Improvement Installer

The position is responsible for assisting with home appliance installation, repair and maintenance work in renovation and new builds projects. You will be required to work in multiple work sites within the Auckland region. This job is required to perform: Plan Examination: Follow instructions from the tradesperson to review plans, specifications, and job sites to assess installation requirements, including type, quality, and location specifications. Site Preparation: Prepare installation sites by nailing skins, drilling holes for screws and bolts, and assembling scaffolding and ladders as needed to facilitate safe and efficient installation processes. Material Preparation: Assist tradesperson to measure and cut installation materials to appropriate size and shape, ensuring accuracy and precision in alignment with project specifications. Structural Installation: Drill holes in various materials such as timber, brick, stone, and fiber structures, securely fastening bolts, screws, and nails in place under the supervision of a tradesperson. Equipment Assembly: Assist tradesperson to assemble, position, and install HVAC equipment as per design specifications. Clean-Up Site: Thoroughly clean and organize the installation site upon completion of the project, ensuring all debris and waste materials are properly disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies. Material Handling and Storage: Handle and store installation materials safely and responsibly, adhering to environmental regulations and guidelines to minimize impact on the environment. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards when installing and handling HVAC equipment.
