We are looking for a Digital UI/UX Designer to contribute to the success of Tower by providing digital design support for in line with our digital experience strategy. This will involve being an active member of the Digital Experience team and helping drive conversion rate optimisation.
Reporting to the Digital Design Manager this role will provide digital design expertise based on data and customer insights, and will focus on enhancing and improving our digital experience. Your role will work closely with the UX team to create the user interface designs as well as helping solve user experience pain points.
What you'll do day to day
Manage UI design across the web and mobile platforms
Use customer data and design thinking to design website improvements and features
Actively contribute to CRO workflow by offering ideas for new features, and helping to prioritise tickets
Collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility of design solutions
Support with delivery of digital projects as required
Support with digital design feasibility assessment of projects and marketing campaigns as required
Ensure digital designs are consistent with Tower brand values
Promote consistent UI across the digital platforms and ensure functional design system is maintained
Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitors.
Ensure tasks and tickets are completed in a timely manner
General support for the Digital Experience team
To be successful in this role you will have:
Good understanding of conversion rate optimisation for eCommerce
Strong understanding of user interface design, design systems, UX research and UX/UI design tools.
Strong experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
A solid portfolio of digital design work, include website redesign work
Knowledge of Invision, Sketch, AfterEffects and animate CC
Ability to code to a basic level to translate designs into working prototypes
A strong level of general digital knowledge, preferably within B2C markets (and good understanding of key digital disciplines including user experience)
Proven track record of delivering online projects using structured project management techniques (experience in agile development is essential)
A strong knowledge of web usability and design best practice within an e-commerce environment.
