Supporting innovation and research that advances the use of Maori data, the overarching mission is to educate Maori on the benefits of collection and use of Maori data and to promote and advance opportunities for iwi, hapu and whanau Maori to share knowledge and information relating to collection and use of Maori data.Realising the potential of this data to make a sustainable, positive difference, TKR are co-designing a system-wide model for Maori data governance to ensure data design, collection and dissemination serves iwi and Maori needs.Te ahua o Te Turanga - The nature of the positionReporting to the Aho - Practice Manager/Aho Tapu - Lead Data Technician, theDigital Program Manager will play an integral role within the organisation; leading and coordinating the delivery of the Digital Program.The core focus of this role will be tolead the work program,managing the oversightofrelationships and the allocation and coordination of Digital Technicians and resource to successfully complete the agreed work programs.Responsible for project delivery, including oversight of technicians leading work toward achieving agreed deliverables, the positions remit also coverscontract management for funding schedules.Overarching to this, you will be responsible forsecuringfunding agreements to deliver on relationship agreements as well as specific projects and the Identification of opportunities/strategic relationships to progress the maramatanga strategy.Informing annual planning and budget forecasting alongside the TKR Aho Tapu (Technical Lead) and Aho (Practice Manager), you will be managing relationships with other Crown/ non-Crown entities, in relation to the entire digital program, including the digital initiatives within the maramatanga strategy.Managing a small team of staff, it is expected you will have sound people leadership skills set, including the ability to coach, train and enable others to be successful.Nga tino Pukenga/Wheako - Essential skills/experiences for the role.Arelevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.Skill, knowledge, and experience required are to include.·Extensive experience in programme management and financial management.·A demonstrated track record of managing complex workstreams and workflows to successful delivery.·Proven experience in setting and managing a large budget.·Previous experience in procurement.·Proven experience in relationship management with iwi and with Crown agencies.·Have knowledge of and/or fluency in written and spoken te reo Maori and a genuine understanding and commitment to tikanga Maori and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.·The ability to bring your matauranga Maori and pukenga to the role and contribute to project development and deployment.·Ability to self-manage and great time management skills.·Flexibility to adapt with changing environments and systems.·Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time position and can be based in Rotorua or Wellington, with a degree of flexibility built in.Te Tono - How to applyTo apply, or to enquire further in confidence contact Heather Walker for a confidential conversation now on (09) 632 1108 or email your up-dated CV and covering letter through to ****** close on: Monday 15April at 5.00pm.#J-18808-Ljbffr
