About the Role: Diagnostics is a rapidly growing and evolving business which includes GeneMark DNA parent verification and Animal Health diagnostics laboratories as well as a state-of-the-art sequencing facility. As the Diagnostics Systems Manager, you'll lead the charge in supporting, managing, and enhancing our IT systems and infrastructure. Leading a team of specialists, you'll ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Inspire and motivate your team of Diagnostics Systems Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and alignment with LIC values.Strategic planning for Diagnostics IT systems in collaboration with wider LIC Technology team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Oversee the performance, maintenance, and upgrades of our existing Diagnostics IT systems (GeneMark & Animal Health), ensuring adherence to quality and security standards.Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external IT support partners and stakeholders to drive innovation and facilitate the development of new products and services.Develop and maintain comprehensive operational performance reporting to uphold our commitment to meeting customer expectations consistently.Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, operate within budget parameters, demonstrating financial acumen and accountability.About You: You'll bring a background in IT management, where you've led high-performing teams and driving results. You'll also be able to demonstrate:
