Despatch Forklift Operator

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operators to join our Lumber Division based at our Whirinaki mill site, North of Napier.
This is a key role in our team as your forklift skills will contribute to the smooth and safe operation of the Lumber Division.
In this busy role you'll join a team responsible for stacking/unstacking packets of timber, effectively managing stock rotation, loading and unloading trucks, scanning of product for despatch, preparation of container load plans and ensuring storage space is used efficiently for ease of access and to prevent product degradation.
You'll have an opportunity to use your skills across our whole site as from time to time you may be required to provide forklift support to other departments.
To be successful in obtaining this position you'll need to bring with the following:
A strong health and safety focus
Forklift License with an F endorsement
Minimum 5 years' forklift experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
Excellent attendance record, a strong work ethic and proactive "can do" attitude
Ability to sustain a high level of energy and composure during times of pressure
Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work as part of a team but also with minimal supervision
Skill, experience and confidence working at heights
Strong computer literacy

This is a full time, flexi shift position with an overtime expectation.
