We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Dermatologist Consultant to join a dynamic team in a DGH in New Zealand's North Island. As the Lead Dermatologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care to patients in the stunning region of Taranaki.
You will lead a team in providing outpatient and community-based specialist dermatology care, contribute to the department's educational activities and mentorship opportunities and engage in clinical liaison with other surgical and non-surgical specialties to maintain high-quality patient care.
This position is full time and permanent, located in the beautiful region of Taranaki which boasts some of New Zealand's most iconic natural landscapes including Mt Taranaki and many adventure activities. The rugged and wild coastline is home to more than 12 world-class surf breaks. Taranaki is a place where you can ski and surf in the same day. For a more relaxing experience, there are many walks (bush, coastal or mountain) as well as art trails, festivals and award-winning museums and galleries and a thriving café culture.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, or equivalent Specialist qualification in DermatologyRegistered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Specialist DermatologistProficiency in medical dermatology, patch-testing, and management of skin cancerExperience in tele-dermatology and simple cutaneous surgeryPassion for empowering patients, families, and healthcare providers in skin healthExpertise in providing equitable access and patient-centered care REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS Salary Range: NZD190,000.00 - NZD270,000.00 (BASIC 40 HOUR WEEK)Additional allowancesSuperannuation6 weeks annual leaveReimbursement of medical practice expensesRelocation PackageVisa sponsorshipAPPLICATIONS
