This role provides a great opportunity to build on your existing leadership skills in a diverse and fast-moving environment on one of our largest sites at Edendale.
Your Purpose:Reporting to the Regional Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day leadership and operations of our Edendale Distribution Centre. You will ensure that our Fonterra products are safely, efficiently and effectively stored and transported to ports and other distribution centres and customers. Furthermore, you will oversee the overall performance of our distribution centre and increase employee engagement. We are looking for a strong and engaging leader that will take charge to drive results and employee satisfaction. This role is predominantly Monday to Friday with flexibility around rostered on-call duties every 6 weeks.Other key responsibilities include:
Setting and managing the distribution centre’s budget
Manage all KPI reporting requirements
Responsible for ensuring strict adherence to Fonterra’s health and safety policies, standards and procedures
Role model the Fonterra values and foster a culture of high performance, quality and accountability
Manage the movement of stock between Distribution centres, with appropriate approvals
What you will bring:
We are looking for an inspiring leader who has the following skills and experience:
Prior experience in a similar FMCG or Manufacturing environment would be advantageous;
Proficient using SAP systems and Microsoft Excel;
Confidence to coach, mentor and develop your team;
Skilled at building collaborative teams; managing and measuring team deliverables;
Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to relate at all levels;
Strong financial acumen and demonstrated experience managing a budget
