The Role
The Data Management Developer is responsible for technical delivery and support of our data platforms: developing and maintaining an agreed window into business operations while allowing deep-dive by our data scientists.
You'll need strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to provide data solutions and information.
As part of an Agile team, you'll collaborate with analysts to gather requirements, design, and build data models for end users.
Duties
Collaborate with staff and managers to ensure that appropriate data collection and analysis tools are in place to support our key processes.
Learn and adapt new techniques to improve our analysts' ability to generate insight quickly.
Design, plan and deliver data from a large number of source data systems to allow Trustpower teams to focus on new learnings.
Support Trustpower Data Management Architecture, development standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
Test, clearly document, deploy, and coach users to ensure your work is well understood.
Maintain and continuously improve the current ELT environment.
Skills and Experience
As you join us in simplifying the complex, the following would be a strong advantage:
Data Integration experience, with cloud or traditional tools.
Skills in data systems and tools including SQL, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT.
Strong communication - to clearly understand and capture user requirements.
Expertise in implementing complex business rules.
Proven experience in an Analyst, Data Engineering, Software Development or BI Developer role.
