You will join a small, passionate, focused and fun team based on Auckland's North Shore.They service thousands of customers throughout New Zealand. This is an important role with quite a variety of tasks and responsibilities - some very important in terms of timing and accuracy. The role is varied with a diverse range of tasks being performed.
These can be broken into sections of; Frontline Sales, Sales Administration and Freight Administration. The successful applicant will report directly to the Brisbane office. The core working hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.The person we are seeking will have all or most of the following skills, experience, aptitude or attributes: 3 years Customer Service experience in a customer service, office or call centre type work environment;Intermediate skills and experience with Microsoft programmesYou need to be 'hands on', highly energetic, well organised and have a proven passion for customer service & satisfaction.A high level of keyboard accuracy and a good eye for detail;Experienced, proficient, accurate and fast data-entry and administrative skills, especially involving numbers and prolific detail;A head for numbers and some aptitude for financial analysis;Strong natural focus on customer responsiveness and meeting or exceeding customer expectations;Possess strong organisational skills with the ability prioritise as well as multi-task;A genuine team player with high initiative and ability to think laterally;A friendly, warm and engaging personality who can smile with their eyes and voice;Excellent time management skills;Well presented;Highly developed telephone and email communication skillsProactive and prepared to work in the warehouse if/ and when needed;Confident and resourceful in decision-making;Good problem solver with the ability to identify and implement collaborative process improvements;High level of accuracy and attention to detail;Able to remain calm in the face of heavy workloads and/or stressful scenarios by communicating and collaborating to resolve issues effectively. The following experience is mandatory: Frontline Sales – With a view to providing superior customer service.
This will involve processing of phone and e-mailed orders, telephone enquiries, quotations (both customer product and freight and handling), invoicing of orders and general cash and credit card handling. Also, processing of returned goods and subsequently issuing of credits. This will be done in conjunction with the Brisbane office.Sales Administration – This is the ‘behind the scenes’ tasks that are vital in the smooth running of the sales department. The tasks involved will be the preparation of picking slips (morning) and prioritising of orders, invoicing/despatch, label preparation (despatching orders and matching invoices), backorder report and the allocation of all backorders before bulk print.Freight Administration – Courier liaison.
This includes booking couriers for pick up/return of faulty or incorrect goods plus booking in other couriers for collection of goods. Also, chasing up missing freight from customers and liaising with freight companies. In addition, every week there are several reports that need to be run, including picking slip and backorder reports, as well as checking on return goods.So, the bottom line is this is a neat role and excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into a good company, very good team and grab this roll by the scruff of the neck and make it yours!
