Our Credit Solutions team is looking for an experienced & collaborative Credit Advisor to join their team in our Wellington CBD office, where you will contribute your expertise to a team dedicated to providing excellent credit management solutions to our customers. About the role Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire life cycle of a Nova Energy customer, ensuring a seamless experience from initial sign-up to account closure. This will include managing customer accounts and creatively tackling overdue debts through a solutions-driven approach. Other key tasks: Initiate and maintain regular communication with customers to address outstanding balances and resolve payment issues. Proactively identify and pursue overdue accounts, implementing appropriate recovery strategies while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth communication regarding payments. About you To thrive in this role, you will have a combination of sharp analysis, excellent communication, and solid negotiation skills. We are looking for a resilient, results-driven individual who is experienced in customer service, credit know-how, and ethical conduct keep client relations positive. Key skills required for this role: Previous experience in the financial or credit/debt recovery environment. Strong knowledge of credit control practices, debt recovery, and credit risk assessments. Proven experience in client management, addressing financial concerns, and conflict resolution. Proficient in negotiation and problem-solving, with a track record of successful dispute resolution.
