As part of the volunteer recruitment team, the Coordinator Recruitment works alongside a team of other Coordinators, Administrators and Advisors. This role is unique compared to other recruitment coordination roles where the main focus is being responsible for assisting with medical triage and screening of volunteer candidates and change of position applicants. This also includes checking medical information for completeness, determining next steps in medical processing and finalising completed medical checks.

This role will also support the end-to-end recruitment of volunteers. Within time you will be cross- trained on other recruitment functions, including coordination for recruiting career firefighters and the end-to-end recruitment for non-operational roles.

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a medical or health environment. Experience in HR, or Recruitment coordination would be a bonus.
