Senior People Advisor - Wellington or Hawkes Bay - Permanent at Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Wellington - Wairarapa Mo tenei turanga - about the roleThe Senior People Advisor reports to the Wellington based Regional People Business Partner and will be in a team of three, providing HR support to the Te Upoko Region (Lower North Island).Within this role you will create a reputation for strong performance across a range of HR disciplines and ideally have experience working in a complex business environment. As a team player, your approachability and passion to deliver results-focused service delivery is a must. No two days are the same where at any time you could be –Supporting a manager to interpret and apply an employment agreement clauseWorking on complex ER issuesMentoring and coaching a new leader within HR guidelinesBuilding effective professional relationships with key stakeholdersFacilitating the delivery of a people based national initiative into the regionCritical to this role will be your ability to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will also be familiar with working in a highly unionised environment and comfortable working autonomously.Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role:You'll be authentic, self-motivated, highly focused and able to multi-task. You'll need to be a savvy, quick thinker with demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas articulately.
