Contracts Manager

Our clients is one of New Zealand's largest construction companies, who earned their reputation of one of the best by building a team of like-minded professional, that are passionate about construction and willing to go an extra mile to deliver their projects on time and within set budgets. They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager with proven contractual experience in low to mid value commercial projects for a main contractor.
Main responsibilities:
Provide efficient and effective contract financial administration including estimating and quantity surveying services
Provide efficient and reliable administration and management support to the Project Manager
Work as part of a team to ensure best practises principles activities are being used to achieve operational excellence and planned targets are achieved
Deliver professional level of customer service and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude towards clients, subcontractors, suppliers and management
Main selection criteria:
Appropriate carpentry experience
Knowledge of contractual obligations
Ability to plan, monitor and control costs
Customer focused and committed to providing a high quality of service
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
