Contract Manager Gas Maintenance Electrix Limited is a high profile long term leader in the Australasian electrical and gas contracting markets Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealands foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power electricity gas industrial and commercial sectors We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to manage the gas maintenance contract in the Hamilton and North Island regions Based in Hamilton this role will be responsible for the operational financial and HSE performance of these contracts Key responsibilities Managing all Gas Distribution maintenance contracts i e planned maintenance corrective maintenance reactive maintenance network protection etc to Meet or exceed customer expectations Achieve customer KPI targets Achieve financial targets Achieve Electrix performance targets expectations Building and maintaining positive relationships with key customers Ensuring that both Electrix and clients comply with relevant contract agreements Identifying and addressing contractual issues in a timely manner Ensuring that contract processes and systems are robust and applied consistently to all areas Driving continuous improvement within the business you will be expected to document improvements benefits made within your business area Promoting and building a positive working environment Ensuring that work is being planned managed and completed in an efficient and productive manner Ensuring contracts are operated and managed in a financially fiscal manner i e invoicing WIP debtors controlling direct and indirect costs Ensuring suppliers and subcontractor are being managed in accordance with Electrix requirements Ensuring that industry codes of practice are being complied with Ensuring safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act are followed and communicated to all staff through regular site meetings Qualifications Technical Knowledge Skills Training required Engineering Diploma NZCE or similar A current New Zealand Gas Industry Certificate of Competency is preferred Handson experience in gas reactive preventative corrective maintenance and or gas construction management is preferred A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements Knowledge of industry contracting procedures and contract law Handson experience in using business solutions software such as SAP and Maximo Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with employees and customers at all levels Estimating tendering skills with handson ability An attractive remuneration package is available commensurate with experience Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand In accordance with the Companys Drug Alcohol Policy the successful applicant will be required to undergo a preemployment drug test and medical Once you click Apply you will be routed to our career website where you will be required to complete an online application This may take a few minutes Applications close Sunday 15th March 2020
