At NZ Post, we are going through a major transformation which sees us preparing for the future by buildinganunmatched delivery backbone and last mile network; implementing the technology,databasesand infrastructure to digitise and optimise the network; enabling a more extensive range of delivery choices and deepening strategic relationships with our customers.The IIS workstream is a series of interconnected activities within ourOperational ExcellenceProgramme, which is focussed on providing the technology smarts, the processes, and people capabilities to ensure the organisation is ready tooperatethese new facilities.
Thispivotal role involvesspearheading the design and development ofstreamlined and standardised processes and technologysolutionssupportingthe implementation of a comprehensive,automatedand streamlined network.Thecore focus of the role is to collaborate with the business, guiding the definition and facilitation of future-state products and standards essential for the efficient flow of our customers' products within the courier network. Additionally,you'llcraft strategies for capturing and utilising data to enhance network performance.
This role willsee you engaging with SME's andexecutive levelstakeholders from across the organisation, contributing to the processes,standardsand data management of the network.You'llbe the interface between network operations channels, marketing, sales andultimately ourcustomersso great interpersonal skills are essential.
As an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager,you'llbring with you proven experience leading,managingand delivering improvement initiatives to deliver tangible business change.You'llhave gained this by working in multifunctional project teams or across business units,ideally in a similarly large and complexorganisationlike ours.
To succeed in thisroleyou'llbe a high performing relationship manager with strong continuous improvement delivery experience; along with being a highly accomplished coach and facilitator and a project manager who canoperatein a complex transformational change programme.As a natural relationship builder experienced in leading change in large operational environmentsyou willhave honed your communication and facilitation skills to reach audiences of all levels.You'llcouple this with:
