J.C. Penney is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality written content for various platforms including our website, social media channels, and marketing materials. This role requires a creative individual with excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities:- Write engaging and persuasive content for J.C. Penney's online platforms- Research industry trends and competitor strategies to create relevant and compelling content- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns- Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets brand guidelines and quality standards- Stay up-to-date on SEO best practices and implement them in content creation- Work closely with designers and other team members to ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand- Monitor and analyze content performance to make data-driven decisions for future projects
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field- 1+ year of experience in content writing or a similar role- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment- Hardworking and dedicated to producing high-quality content- Excellent research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content management systems- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
