We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Business Journalist to join our team.
You'll be part of a team that produces economic and business news for The Post, New Zealand's fastest growing subscriber website www.thepost.co.nz as well as our newspapers.
You will have business expertise, a well rounded contact book and want to break business stories and write stories that take the reader and business leaders behind the headline.
This role offers a chance to demonstrate your expertise and contribute to our mission of enhancing the well-being of Aotearoa through beautifully told independent journalism.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include: Producing and delivering precise, compelling, and well-presented business news coverage.Establishing and nurturing reliable connections to uncover exclusive stories.Ensuring our coverage consistently outpaces our competitors in all aspects.Leveraging social media platforms, including Neighbourly and other third-party tools, to engage with the community and expand our audience.Innovating new storytelling approaches for stories already in the mainstream media.This role is fast-paced with each day offering new challenges.
