Explore our Disability Supports and Services Directory We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead our Connections & Funding teams across the Bay of Plenty and Tairawhiti. The workload is varied, and no two days will be the same. You will be an important part of the Connections & Funding leadership team and exemplify the values of our organisation, and our mission to support disabled people and tangata whaikaha Maori to thrive. You will ensure team members are coached and mentored to reflect our values and purpose and build strong community relationships that can help us enhance the lives of disabled people and tangata whaikaha Maori. You will support teams to understand and follow our policies and processes to meet contract outcomes. A quick learner, you will have strong personal resilience and be able to manage complex situations that arise for people we support. Understanding of the disability sector, justice, child protection, education and health areas is an advantage. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across five days based either in Tairawhiti or the Bay of Plenty. Regular (minimum fortnightly travel) is expected to deliver in your role for and with our teams. A work vehicle will be supplied.As a Connections and Funding Manager for Your Way | Kia Roha the successful applicant will:Experience managing in a fast-paced team environment,Experience working within the Health and Disability sector, working within a NASC service would be advantageous,At least five years' experience supervising or managing people, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as presenting and reporting is required,The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders,Experience working with client management systems.What's on offer:Your Way | Kia Roha (previously known as Life Unlimited Charitable Trust) is a nationally recognised Not-for-profit organisation supporting people in their communities from Whangarei to Invercargill.
