Join our dynamic business support team as a RBP Growth Advisor to connect small and medium business owners with a range of tools, support, and resources as part of the Regional Business Partnership (RBP) program in the Western Bay of Plenty. While you won't be advising the businesses, you will understand their issues and connect them with the right resources and support. It's a great role for people with sales, key account management, and public engagement backgrounds. In this rewarding position, you will: Grow and manage your own pipeline of local businesses that have growth and innovation potential. Develop tailored action plans to connect businesses with the right tools, support, and resources to help them achieve their goals. Build strong relationships with regional partners and stakeholders to ensure you keep up-to-date with the latest support offerings for local businesses. Promote the programme by exploring new networks and sharing case studies with Government and other local channels. To excel in this role, you'll need: Excellent listening and interpersonal skills to engage with business owners and leaders from a wide range of backgrounds. A good understanding of how businesses operate, and the common challenges they face. Self-managed, excellent time management and prioritisation skills, and attention to detail. Follow systems and processes to adhere to operational guidelines for auditing purposes. The ability to quickly understand issues specific to individual businesses, identify solutions, and stay up-to-date with ever-changing business support offerings.
